From 19th June to 20th August 2023, central London played host to more than 50 6-foot-tall sculptures of the much-loved children’s TV character, Morph.
Located alongside some of London’s most iconic landmarks and venues, each sculpture was decorated by well-known and emerging artists, with every sculpture featuring a unique design. Cheapside BID was delighted to sponsor the ‘Good Vibes’ Morph sculpture, located outside of St Mary Le Bow Church. Created by artist Lucy Hebden, ‘Good Vibes’ featured 1970s inspired retro rainbows and flowers and is a nod to Morph’s colourful entrance onto our TV screens.
For 8 weeks, the immersive art trail welcomed hundreds to the City of London and encouraged exploration of the Cheapside area. Following the public trail, the Morph sculptures were auctioned off to raise vital funds and awareness for Whizz Kidz, a charity that helps to transform the lives of young wheelchair users across the UK.
