Visitors to Cheapside will be familiar with Live in the Churchyard, an annual community festival that welcomes hundreds of people to St. Mary Le Bow Church throughout the summer.
Sponsored by Cheapside BID, this event has gone from strength to strength over the past few years and now welcomes more than 800 people every year for a week of live music, performances, and historical tours.
Originally launching as a small community project, Live in the Churchyard has now become a staple of the City’s annual events calendar, with hundreds of visitors taking part every summer. The week-long festival is a fantastic example of how to merge Cheapside’s Past with its Present – a perfect combination of history & heritage with arts, culture, and performance.
