Activities Include:
Free Cycle Checks & Minor Repairs
Sponsored by Cheapside Business Alliance, Bikeworks will be on standby with a team of bike mechanics to help with all of your cycling needs. Feel free to bring your bike along for any check-ups and minor fixes.
Cycle Security Bike Marking
The City Police will be available to provide advice and apply a neat visible blue BikeRegister ID etch on your bike. This means it will be registered to your name, making it easier for you to be reunited with your cycle in the event of theft.
‘Exchanging Places’
Delivered by Speedy Services, ‘Exchanging Places’ is an interactive experience that allows cyclists to experience what it is like to be in Heavy Goods Vehicle Driver and see themselves from the perspective of a driver. The activity aims to improve awareness and ensure cyclists stay safe when riding close to these large vehicles.
This event is free to attend and does not require registration, just drop by.
If you can’t join us, remember:
- If you live, work or study in the Square Mile, you can get free cycle skills training from expert instructors.
