Join us for our next free Cycle Safety Roadshow of 2024! Delivered in partnership between Cheapside Business Alliance (CBA), City of London Corporation, City of London Police, Speedy Services, and Nip Nip Cycle Repair, this 2.5 hour roadshow will be full of free resources, activities, guidance, and recommendations for cyclists in the City. Activities include:
‘Exchanging Places’
Delivered by Speedy Services, ‘Exchanging Places’ is an interactive experience that allows cyclists to experience what it is like to be in Heavy Goods Vehicle Driver and see themselves from the perspective of a driver. The activity aims to improve awareness and ensure cyclists stay safe when riding close to these large vehicles.
Cycle Security Bike Marking
The City Police will be available to provide advice and apply a neat visible blue BikeRegister ID etch on your bike. This means it will be registered to your name and you could be reunited with your cycle in the event of it being stolen.
Dr Bike
Sponsored by Cheapside Business Alliance, NipNip will be on standby with a team of bike mechanics to help with all of your cycling needs. Feel free to bring your bike along for any check-ups and minor fixes.
This event is free to attend and does not require registration. The roadshow will be taking place on Bucklersbury, between Bloomberg and St Stephen Walbrook.
