Join us to kick off the festive season at the first Cheapside Switch-On
Thursday 17th November | 4.30pm onwards | Steps of The Royal Exchange
The first ever Cheapside Switch-On is coming to The Royal Exchange this November, welcoming the new Lord Mayor of the City of London, Bronek Masojada, to lead the countdown and light up the heart of the City.
Expect uplifting live choir performances, complimentary hot drinks and mince pie giveaways from Fortnum & Mason, and a fantastic festive atmosphere.
Delivered by Cheapside Business Alliance, in partnership with The Royal Exchange, Fortnum & Mason, St Paul’s Cathedral, Mansion House and the Bank of England, this event will not only mark the lighting up of the magnificent Christmas Tree outside The Royal Exchange, but will also see the illumination of six festive trees stationed around Bank Junction, as well as the glow of the Bank of England itself.
This free event promises to bring plenty of festive cheer to Cheapside, so don’t miss out!
