On Saturday, Cheapside Business Alliance was pleased to join the other City BIDs in welcoming Lady Mayor Dame Susan Langley DBE in the first ever Lady Mayor’s Show.
We joined the other City BIDs: Aldgate Connect BID, Culture Mile, Eastern City, and Fleet Street Quarter, on a colourful collaborative community float.
The theme of this year’s float was Community Heroes. Across August, we welcomed nominations for the everyday individuals who make a truly positive impact in our community.
Our Community Heroes were then invited to join the parade, providing them with the opportunity to board the float and wave proudly to the gathered crowds. The float was also adorned with the City’s skyline, with the central point showcasing a 3D version of the iconic St Paul’s Cathedral.
A huge thank you to our Community Heroes, everyone who joined us in the show, and to all the supporters who cheered us on.
